Located next to Galleria Midobaru, our restaurant, The Peak, is a refined space filled with unique art on the theme of Beppu. The restaurant offers both course and a la carte menus that incorporate an abundance of ingredients unique to Oita, guiding you into a deliciously fascinating world of cuisine. Course and a la carte menus that are a journey for the five senses
The name of our restaurant, The Peak, encompasses three distinct peaks: the peak of a mountain (since the hotel is located halfway up Mt. Tsurumi); the highpoint of a journey, and a “hot” oven that cooks food at the perfect temperature for peak flavor. Our custom-built copper-domes stone oven creates exquisite dinners and lunches for our guests to enjoy at their leisure.

Our chef will prepare a meal of your choosing for you to enjoy in the comfort and quiet of your room. Please feel free to choose this service if you are staying alone or just want to relax in your room. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes from easy snacks such as a seasonal salad and fish and chips to Oita Jidori chicken wings and lamb cotoletta (cutlet).

A relaxing lunch is the perfect addition to your stay at Galleria Midobaru. The Peak’s course menu uses a variety of local ingredients such as wagyu beef from Kyushu, and offers a unique array of creative dishes that are distinct from those served in the morning and evening.
